Offering secondary memory for loved ones that can't remember anymore
The persons signing up for memory vault would indicate curator in case of their death or loss of cognitive abilities. The app would collect data about user's behavior, membership in services, social network, locations visited, trips, appointments, publicly available data about the user. The content of the memory vault might be revised by the user, with content discarded or content added actively by the user.
In the event of death, the memory vault can produce memorial pages, contact list of persons to be notified by email, txt msg or pre-recorded message, can help with funeral arrangements, making it easier for family and friends to cope with the loss of a loved one.
In the event of loss of cognitive abilities, the memory vault can be used to generate playlists from the different years of the person's lifespan, photobooks, memory books with people and places known to the person, localization maps for house and neighborhood, making it easier for family and caretakers to manage the patient.
