Media Streaming with sensory watermarks
Putting smart watches and other gadgets to good use
After the success of 3D movies, some places started offering "4D" movies, where not only the user sees the images in 3D, and listen but can feel parts of the movie with other senses like smell and tactile. What if we could create a sensory watermark on the media stream that our SDK would detect and contact available gadgets connected to the media streaming device to provide users with the "4D" personalized experience?
The sensory watermark could prompt a touch from the smart watch, vibration of the device, increase/decrease the temperature setting of the connected thermostat in the house, turning lights on/off, changing LED colors, turning on/off connected aromatherapy devices, etc.
We would have a descriptive language to add devices and protocol to interact with them. A library of available devices would be provide and we can even have a market place for users to trade device libraries.
